Consolidations or Transfers

In August 1864, non-veterans were mustered out, and the remaining veterans and recruits were organized into two companies (A and B) and sent to the Shenandoah Valley. In December 1862, Companies L and M were added. In 1865, remaining veterans and recruits were consolidated with the 8th Indiana Cavalry.
