Unassigned Recruits

Recruits remaining in Arkansas after the main regiment’s muster out were organized into two companies (A and B) under Capt. James A. Pine and served at Pine Bluff and White River. Individual names are not fully preserved in available sources.

Consolidations or Transfers

Company I and Company K served as independent companies, often detached for escort and headquarters duty with various Union generals. After the main regiment’s muster out, remaining recruits were consolidated and mustered out in 1865.
