Consolidations or Transfers

After the mustering out of non-veterans in September 1864, the veterans and recruits of the 41st Indiana Regiment (2nd Indiana Cavalry) were consolidated into a battalion of four companies under Major Samuel Hill. This battalion continued service until final muster out in July 1865.
