Consolidations or Transfers
In December 1864, the 67th Indiana Infantry was consolidated with the 24th Indiana Infantry Regiment. In July 1865, the regiment was reorganized as a battalion of five companies; men enlisted prior to October 1862 in the 24th and 67th were mustered out July 19, 1865. The battalion remained at Galveston, Texas, until final muster out on November 15, 1865.
