According to the 1908 volume of “The Union Army,” unassigned US Colored Troops from Ohio were recruited at large and credited to various congressional districts. These men rendezvoused at Camp Delaware, Ohio, and were subsequently assigned to other regiments. There are no surviving muster-out rolls or assignment records in the Ohio Adjutant General’s office, making it impossible to provide a complete roster or final record of these troops.
