Consolidations or Transfers

In the spring of 1864, 88 men from the 10th Indiana Light Battery were transferred to the 5th and 8th Indiana Batteries and participated in the Atlanta campaign. The remaining 40 men served on the gunboat “Stone River” at Decatur until June 19, 1864, when the battery was reassembled and later mustered out at Indianapolis on July 10, 1865.
