11th Ohio Battalion Infantry Soldier Roster - Official Roster of the Soldiers of the State of Ohio in the War of the Rebellion, 1861-1866, Volume 1, by Ohio Roster Commission (Wm. McKinley, Jr., Governor, Samuel M. Taylor, Sec'y of State and James C. Howe, Adjutant-General), 1893 Regimental History Eleventh Battalion Infantry. — This organization was formed of two companies, whose terms of service had not yet expired, and the veterans of the 11th Ohio infantry, in June, 1864. It was assigned to Baird's division of the 14th corps, under command of Capt. D. Clinton Stubbs, who had been promoted to lieutenant-colonel of the battalion but not mustered. It accompanied Sherman in his wonderful campaign, and after the surrender of the Confederate armies was mustered out, June 11, 1865.
